We are very proud to have the acting CEO of Steiner Education Australia, Virginia Moller joining us to discuss the STEINER EDUCATION for the 21st CENTURY and STEINER SECONDARY EDUCATION. This is a great opportunity to ask all of the questions you may have about Steiner Education.
Steiner Education is celebrating 100 years of existence in 2019. Mansfield Steiner School will join with over 1000 schools in 90 different countries throughout the world to celebrate the event. Steiner (or Waldorf Education) is the fastest growing global pedagogical movement in the world that is not connected to the state or run by churches. It is a network of independent schools both which adapts to the cultural basis of the country and enlivens the traditions.
The overarching aim of Steiner Education is to awaken students’ interest in the world and to create social entrepreneurs who will utilise their capacities of imagination, creativity, determination, motivation and resilience to face the challenges of a demanding and unseen future. Steiner Education has a successful track record of innovative education practices that address and cultivate these skills. The curriculum is a global curriculum which relies on structure but also meets the needs of our time.
