Plan of proposed primary classrooms

VOLUNTARY BUILDING FUND

2021 has been the beginning of an exciting new phase for Mansfield Steiner School as we welcomed our first Year 12 and we are now officially a Kindergarten to Year 12 Steiner IB World School.

Mansfield Steiner School is committed to building for the future and investing in our children. Over the past 35 years the Voluntary Building Fund has provided an important source of funding for capital projects. Our Governance Committee along with our Project Steering Team has worked hard over the past 2 years to firm up plans for the next thrilling phase of our Masterplan development which will see improvements to facilities for all our students for many years to come.

The Steiner curriculum places a great emphasis on the arts. Our new Art Precinct will offer secondary students the opportunity to explore a range of 2D and 3D medium through a purpose-built facility. The school is calling on donations to help to furnish and stock these buildings to offer the best creative experiences possible for our students.

The pair of Primary classrooms in the Woora Woora paddock will allow the creation of a lower Primary precinct where the younger children can transition to the Big School in a nurturing space for learning, play and discovery.

The long overdue refurbishments to the staff facilities, including an upgrade to the bathroom, study space and staffroom will accommodate our burgeoning staff numbers and create a meeting place for study, sharing resources, and collaborative planning.

You are invited to directly contribute with a financial donation that will support Mansfield Steiner School students continuing to thrive in high quality learning spaces, well into the future. While tuition fees and Government grants support the daily operations of our school additional financial support is needed to develop the facilities. For those that are in a position towards the end of the financial year to assist in this way, ‘gifting’ the school a financial contribution will directly help us provide the facilities to complement an exceptional Steiner and I.B. Education.

It has been through the most generous gifts of time, skills, and financial contributions for our evolving community that Mansfield Steiner School and Kindergarten has become the unique, thriving school it is today.
