Class One excursions have been thwarted by illness but we did manage a walk to the Mullum Wetlands last week where we investigated the creatures in the pond with Andy, made animal artworks with Eileen, found interesting leaf shapes, and patterns with Lou, and played games with Sarah. Thanks to our parent helpers for making it an interesting and fun-filled day. Back in the classroom, we enjoyed painting with the colours of the wetlands, mixing yellow and blue, and throwing in a touch of red like the baby yabbie that surfaced in the net!
