The Morning Star children have had week full of rich experiences. Mornings have been warm and cosy sitting by the fire and singing and wondering about the coming of the cold days ahead. Wilamena the wombat has crawled out of her cosy home to say hello and help us move into play after morning circles. The children used busy fingers as we stitched and embroidered felt dyed leaves and then threaded gumnuts and clay pressings to hang in our windows to catch the afternoon sun. On Friday we enjoyed a Day of Reconciliation as we gathered with our neighbour village the
‘Preps’ and exchanged handmade nature necklaces and shared an afternoon tea of Wattle seed cookies.
