The Year 8s are starting their History Main Lesson, the Age of Revolutions. Starting with the American and then moving to the French, we will explore the people and ideas of these two movements.This Main Lesson fits right into the thinking of the Year 8 student, with challenges to authority, revolution and the implementation of the ideals Liberty,Equality, Fraternity. We look at what happens when these ideas aren’t treated equally and more critically, when they are warped. |
