Class Six have been exploring the geometry of circles and triangles this week.

Using a compass and straight edge, they have created various circle and triangle patterns and experienced the relationship between these two foundational geometric forms. The class has also begun to learn about Julius Caesar and are using their reading on the topic as a basis for constructing different types of sentences.

They can look forward to applying their new-found dexterity with a compass and ruler to some more complex tasks next week.
