Class Two were delighted to have a couple of the Lauriston community service students join them last week for painting. We were using the cooler tones of our primary colours to paint from the Kulin Nation’s story of Waa and the Seven Sisters that Bec had shared in Library. The Class Two students were comfortable with the flow of the paint, but the wet-on-wet style was new to Sally and Lilly, so they were unexpectedly challenged as the different colours moved across the page. For Class Two, it was a different mood in the painting, as we painted with the cooler tones after using the warmer colours in our autumnal tree the week before.
